Assigning Actions
You can assign an action to a specific staff member to complete in Safety Cloud. This is a good way to delegate out issues to other staff who don't have manager access, but are able to resolve an issue for you.
You will need to click actions on the specific action you wish to assign and then edit/complete to open the action.
You will then need to scroll down within the action to the assigned to section. Click on the drop down and you will be able to select any member of staff from your site. Once you have selected a member of staff you will need to click save.
Please note: You may have the option, depending on your structure set up, to assign actions to another site that sits within your parent structure. If you have this set up, you will be able to see a change site button within your action details. If you need to do this, click change site.
This will then allow you to select a different site from within your parent structure. Once you have selected a different site, the staff list that generates in the assign to section will update to their site staff list.
Click hide site if you want to hide which site you are selecting from.
The staff member will then be able to see the action that has been assigned to the via their personal staff dashboard, as shown below. Please note this will only allow them to complete the action- not see any additional modules within Safety Cloud, unless they have access to them.
If you click more information you should be able to see some extra details on where the action sits in the system eg. for a work equipment check action this will show the asset details, in this case will show the date and accident ID number.
Click edit/complete for the action to be completed. More details on how this can be done here.
