Super User - Position Competency Matrix

Setting up the position competency matrix is a super user functionality and only specific staff will have allocated access to set up/update/amend.

Please note the position competency matrix is company wide, so the training assigned to a specific staff position will be the same for all sites. 

To manage your position competency matrix click onto your staff management tab from your site dashboard. 

You will then need to click on the position competency matrix button. (If you cannot see this button, you don't have access to this super user functionality and will need to request access to this). 

Here you will then get the choice of type of training, the competency course and allocation type. The type can be eLearning, Training, Handbook Knowledge Quizzes and Health Surveillance Questionnaires. Allocation type can be done based on position or on a person by person basis for elearning only. 

Once the type and competency has been selected, you can select the allocation type. If allocating per position, you simple need to select the elearning course and then tick next to the positions what courses they need to have access to. 

You will get some pop ups in the top right hand corner when you have successfully assigned/unassigned any courses. 

If you need to deallocate a course, simple untick the next to the position. 

Please note these competencies will also pull through to your training matrix as 'must complete' and eLearning courses will also show on a staff members my dashboard to complete. 

To allocate  eLearning per user, rather than per position, select allocation per users from the drop down. 

You will then see your full staff list generate in the list below. If that staff member has already been allocated eLearning based on their position, this will show as 'assigned through position' and you will be unable to assign again to them as they already have access to this. 

If you wish to allocate a course to an individual, simple tick next to their name. 

You also have the option to export this information. Either an excel spread sheet of which positions are allocated to which training OR which staff records are individually allocated to specific training.
