APP - QR Scanning For Work Equipment Checks
Firstly, ensure the work equipment check records are set up as required on the web browser. Below are guides on how to create the item/asset, then create the checks for the item/asset.
You can then install the Safety Cloud 2 app. Most managers have access to all standard modules within the app (Accidents and Ill health, Audits, Safety Audits, Staff Safety Observations and Work Equipment Checks). A manager can email the service desk to request a non-manager staff member to have access to a specific module.
Log in the app using your normal username and password. Select the company you work for.
Select the dashboard you want to complete checks for
Go to work equipment checks
Select the bar code in top right-hand corner
Scan the QR code sticker on the piece of work equipment you are completing a check for
The app will then bring up the checks related to this work equiptment item/asset
complete check info as required, mark as complete and save
