App - Offline Mode
If you intend on using the device for multiple tasks where there will be no data signal or internet connection you can use this function. It will synchronize all the forms that you have access to in order to complete if and when required and submit when you return to a location with signal. Note this is not required for momentary loss of signal whilst completing a form in any module. The record will stay on the device until it has successfully synchronised so the vast majority of users will not need to use offline mode. Offline mode is only needed if you might need to conduct a number of checks in an offline environment without getting signal in between. Depending on how may records you have on your dashboards, it may take some time to synchronise all of them to the device so we recommend avoiding using this unless necessary.
Please be aware that if you work offline and another user completes the same review on the web or on an online app your submission will be ignored
1) From the bottom of the home screen select Go Offline,
On the pop up screen select which modules you want to be able to access while offline.
This will download the records and forms for those modules and they will sit on your device ready to be completed and re-synced when you mark the device to Go Online.
2) Complete any checks or submit any records as you would in online mode.
3) Once you have finished working then click on go online at the bottom of the screen
This will sync all your checks that you have completed in offline mode and you will get a confirmation message
Note that if you have added multiple checks with photos this may take several minutes, appro 2 to 3 minutes for a flex audit with 3 photos on it.
