App - Accidents And Ill Health
The use of the mobile app with the accident and ill health module is as a logging tool only; a digital handheld accident form linked to to Safety Cloud 2. To edit an accident record you will need to do this via the web browser Updating an Accident or Near Miss Form. The functionality of the mobile app of logging accidents and near misses on mobile mirrors the functionality of logging accidents on the Safety Cloud web platform as well as your access.
Access is granted to anyone who has access to the accidents and ill health module via Safety Cloud 2 web browser. This includes Dashboard Managers, multi sited Dashboard Managers. Employees who have been given the Accident module for particular sites and employees who have been given access as accident loggers for particular sites. All of which can be requested by a superuser to help@safetycloud.com.
Go to the main reporting dashboard and select Accidents And Ill Health
Select whether you want to work with Accident forms or Minor accidents/Near Misses (if your company has those options.
Once you have clicked into the type you want to log you have the options to create new record or see open actions on all records. To manage these actions please review App - Managing Actions
When creating a new record if accessing from a single site not grouped sites the accident form will load If you are accessing the form from a grouped site you must select the site you are logging the accident against. You must fill out all fields marked with *
You are able to attach any supporting files on the app while creating the record. Alternatively you can add these via the web browser once the record has been marked as completed.
You can save the form which will leave it in your Pending submissions which are forms in draft status whereby you can go back and edit before uploading to the main system.
This will not upload the record to the web browser. If an accident form is not marked as complete it will sit in your (draft) In progress submissions which is located on the accident and ill health module until you update it and mark as complete and save. If you are in offline mode it will sit in your draft submissions until you return online.
To submit an (in progress) draft accident form you must open the form and select mark as complete at the bottom then save. This will start the sync process if you are online. If you are not online the data will be held until you are or until you force sync submissions App - Synchronising
If you have not filled out the required fields when marking as complete you will see the black bar error at the bottom of the screen.
Once you have finished the form entirely and attached relevant photos or information via the attach file option you can upload the information into the web browser system MARK AS COMPLETE and SAVE the relevant email notifications will be sent out automatically. Which will take the form out of edit mode ready for upload to the web. You can continue to edit and update the accident form on the Safety Cloud 2 web application if you have access.
