App - Managing Actions
Within the modules you can work on in the app: Accidents and Ill health, Audits, Safety Audits, Staff Safety Observations and Work Equipment Checks users can create, edit, assign and complete actions. Please refer to app modules specific guides to create/address their specific actions. All information on an app action will reflect within your web browser.
All actions will follow the same format. Each action record will show details of the actions description, the record/question the action is related to, the priority of the action, which site the action is assigned to, the user (if applicable) the action is assigned to, the target date, action taken notes, completed by, completion date, files attached.
It is important to edit the actions description to include as much detail as possible, you can also see the record/question the action is related to. You can update the description as many times as required. The purpose of this is so any other users needing to pick up or complete can do so with ease and all compliance information is easily accessible as proof.
Select the priority to indicate importance of the task
If you have access to multiple sites (App - Site selection) you can change the site the action will sit at
Additional to this you can assign actions to a specific user on the system. The user can then go to their My Dashboard on the web browser to address this task if required My Dashboard - Overview
The target date specifies when the action will flag as nearly due and over due. This is important to ensure the actions are managed accordingly.
Supporting files can be added into an action to assist other users/evidence work done.
This will open up the option to access your device files, select these from your device, click the arrow (bottom right of screen) and confirm to upload them onto the action.
Select done to return to your action record.
Further action notes should be added to detail what has been done in order to complete the action and record who the action was completed by.
A completion date will close/complete the action. Once an action has been completed it can not be reopened and a new one will need to replace this if needed. When using the app you also have to select the completed bar and save.
